Well don on the development of your front page, you can see a real progression. For my money, I would like to see a combination of the second and third images – I’m not sure the coloured ‘Lipstick & Lighters’ is as effective as the white font, which in itself is really bold and powerful.
Also, now you’ve cut out the lips for your DPS, maybe you could have a play with them as a sort of iconic band logo – set it off against the L&L text. Don’t be afraid to experiment!
I like the masthead being sent to the back of the image, so your strap runs through it on cover 3 and also, with cover 3, I like the modular anchoring of the boosts. You may, perhaps, consider your central image being blown up a little too – but the setting on it is great, you’ve captured the surly indie tone nicely.
Also on Cover 3, I think the boosts could be made a little deeper – I think there’s too much of the image dark space (around the bottom left) and this may be rectified by playing with the boost – maybe running a transparent box across it and using a 10-degree angle if you're worried about it being overly-modular.
This is just of the top of my head – but the bottom line is, as I’ve said before, don’t be afraid to experiment!
